How wjbd's Journey Began
It was 2019. Cricket fans across Bangladesh wanted to bet on their favourite team's matches, but foreign platforms were difficult to use, payments were a hassle, and the interface wasn't in Bangla. wjbd's founders experienced these problems firsthand — and decided it was time to build a platform of their own, made for the people of Bangladesh.
A small team, a tight budget, but an enormous vision. In its very first year, wjbd reached 10,000 members. Word spread fast — because wjbd offered a Bengali interface, local payment methods, and Bengali-speaking customer support.
